On his way home, Brendan stopped in Mauritius to see his great-uncle, his Great-Great-Aunt Germaine, and one of my dad's cousins. Upon his return, he happily shared with us, "I think that Aunt Germaine really liked seeing me. She kept holding my hand and didn't want to let go." I am very glad that he had the opportunity to visit with my grandmother's goddaughter (and sister).
